There is a list of many diseases that have occurred in humans due to poor personal hygiene like many skin diseases, leprosy, conjunctivitis and trachoma and many diseases due to poor environmental conditions and contaminated soil, water and food.

- Immunization: Immunization is a process in which artificial immunity is enhanced in an individual for the resistance against many bacterial and viral diseases and infections. There is a wide range of Immunization all around the world to give health and protect them from diseases especially in new born such as vaccination against polio, measles and many others.
- Health Education: The objective and aim of health education is to educate the people and spread awareness among them for good health and wellness. So that good health is achieved by their own actions and efforts.
